Are you passionate about workforce planning and optimization? As a Resource Allocation Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient manpower deployment across projects. You'll be responsible for publishing manpower set-ups in the GWS resource planning system on time while ensuring optimal technician utilization at a group level. Balancing operational and tactical planning with company economics, skills, and competencies, you'll help maximize efficiency and performance. Additionally, you'll maintain the right mix of GWS contracted technicians and subcontractors while identifying upskilling opportunities to enhance workforce capabilities.
The Resource Allocation Manager optimizes workforce efficiency by managing technician bookings and selecting project teams based on skills, availability, and GWS needs. This role requires strong planning, data analytics, and financial, compliance, and project management expertise to ensure seamless execution and optimal resource utilization.
Responsibilities:
1. Selecting technicians to projects based on their skills, competencies, experience, potential development, and filling out the bookings in the planning system.
2. Identifying recruitment and subcontractor needs.
3. Liaising with Recruiters and Manpower Subcontractor Manager on presented candidates.
4. Liaising with Technician Relation Managers on development opportunities for internal technicians on projects.
5. Understanding GWS Role Map and actively using GWS Qualification Matrix.
6. Participating in project lessons-learned to identify improvements for future projects.
7. Keeping close cooperation with key stakeholders like Technician Relation Managers as well as with other Resource Allocation Managers to ensure the best possible planning and utilization level.
8. Providing regular feedback to the Head of Resource Allocation Managers on inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.
9. Suggesting potential solutions for identified technicians' availability on a group level.
