Our client, a renowned multi-disciplinary practice, is seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their expanding team in either the Stockport or Liverpool office. With workload on the rise, they are looking for an ambitious individual to contribute to projects spanning the education, ecclesiastical, and commercial sectors.
In this role, you will benefit from dedicated guidance and mentorship as you learn to design and manage both projects and professional tasks. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Carrying out condition surveys
2. Drafting detailed reports
3. Preparing funding bids and budget estimates
4. Developing tender specifications
5. Managing planning and building regulation applications
Over time, you will progress to overseeing contract administration and managing projects from the initial design phase through procurement and on-site delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or assistant to advance within a well-established, respected firm, with APC support provided to help you achieve MRICS qualification. Applicants must hold a RICS-Accredited Degree in Building Surveying.
