A progressive and well-established GP practice in Salisbury is currently looking for a qualified and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their dynamic, multi-disciplinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an autonomous, forward-thinking clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive and evolving primary care environment.
The successful candidate will work as part of a growing team, currently supported by four Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and benefit from a collaborative and educational setting as part of a recognised training practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work independently to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.
* Conduct consultations face-to-face, by telephone, or via video, depending on patient need.
* Prescribe and review medication within your scope of practice and in line with current clinical guidelines.
* Contribute to the delivery of nurse-led chronic disease management clinics (e.g. asthma, diabetes, hypertension).
* Interpret test results and arrange further investigations or referrals as required.
* Support the clinical team in dealing with urgent on-the-day cases and clinical emergencies.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and clinical meetings.
* Safeguard vulnerable patients and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions where appropriate.
* Take part in mentoring or supervising students or trainees, depending on experience and interest.

Essential Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
* Master’s degree or equivalent in Advanced Clinical Practice.
* Independent prescribing qualification.
* Proven experience working autonomously in a primary care or urgent care setting.
* Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
* Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional development, and teamwork.
