Our client, a leading firm of chartered surveyors and estate agents, is seeking an experienced Rural Surveyor to join their growing team in Northumberland. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to provide expert advice on a wide range of rural land management matters and contribute to the firm's continued success in the North of England.
Position Overview
As a Rural Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive professional advice to clients on various aspects of rural land management, including landlord and tenant matters, valuations, diversification projects, and emerging opportunities in the sector. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing the firm's service offerings and building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice on rural land management matters
* Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent client service
* Contribute to achieving regional business plan objectives and targets
* Enhance the firm's public profile through events and engagements
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships
* Generate new business opportunities and expand existing client base
* Maintain an up-to-date work pipeline and develop value-added services
Requirements
* Degree level/RICS accredited qualification
* Minimum 5 years' experience in multidisciplinary rural land management
* Knowledge of property acquisitions, disposals, and landlord and tenant matters
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Planner, OneDrive)
* Ability to work independently and adhere to company processes
* Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
