Job Description
We are looking for a kind and compassionate individual to make a difference to the quality of life for our Client in Weston super Mare, Mr C. As a Live In Carer, you will live in Mr C's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help him stay healthy, safe and independent. This is a permanent position and will be a working pattern of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
For this position, it would be useful to have experience of working in a care setting and with adults as Mr C has a form of dementia that can cause him to say inappropriate things on occasion. Someone with a strong demeanour would be ideal. You will also have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
The pay rate for this placement is £120 per day (£840 per week). You will also receive a £35.00 per week food allowance which is paid monthly.
Mr C lives in Weston super Mare, but has been all over the world in his earlier life. Mr C's hobbies include looking after the garden, puzzles, card games, music from the Beatles and Van Morrison, and following the news on TV. He loves good food and always enjoys going out for a meal and trying something new.
Mr C has a lovely apartment on the sea front, giving you access to beautiful costal views, leisure activities, a shopping centre and various food outlets. Weston super Mare also has great public transport links via buses and trains. As a Live In Carer, you will be provided with your own bedroom, TV, and access to Wi-Fi.

Qualifications
Full training will be provided, but experience working with Dementia is advantageous.
Drivers license and own car desirable, though not essential.
You must also have a kind and compassionate nature and flexible approach.
A smart phone is required to use our bespoke app to log daily activities and clock in to work.
