What you'll do:
1. Generate automation reports via Kroll pharmacy management software.
2. Package medications into unit dose pouches using the automation machine.
3. Perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
4. Manage automation workflow to meet workflow targets and schedules.
5. Maintain inventory at pharmacy to pre-specified minimum stock levels.
6. Place orders for and maintain stock levels of pharmacy supplies or specialty items when needed.
7. Perform inventory pre-count preparation and assist inventory count vendors on inventory count days.
8. Action drug recalls and help obtain alternatives when products are unavailable.
9. Follow a step-by-step workflow process to prepare packages for shipment.
10. Working with a team, use an automated process to package orders for nursing homes and have them ready for delivery.
11. Investigate and troubleshoot orders to have them shipped on time.
12. Follow a step-by-step workflow process to prepare medication orders for patients.
13. Label medication and over-the-counter products, prepare medication blister packs, and mixtures.
14. Use Kroll software in preparing and labeling prescriptions.
What you bring:
1. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
2. Excellent oral and written communication and teamwork skills.
3. Ability to maneuver quickly and consistently for an extended period of time.
4. To be adaptable – You may work in different departments to support workflow.
5. Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
6. Kroll software experience.
7. Pharmacy experience with Long Term Care.
8. Post-secondary education.
