Job Overview:
Brakes is seeking a talented and results-driven Business Growth Specialist to join its busy contact centre team.
This role involves researching, prospecting, winning, and onboarding profitable new customers within a designated territory or sector to exceed sales and margin targets using Brakes' customer-first methodology.
* Research and prospect potential new business opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline.
* Build strong commercial customer relationships to understand their business and requirements.
* Develop profitable and relevant propositions to secure new business at the correct margin.
* Deal with internal stakeholders to assist with new customers, including depots, credit control, etc.
* Achieve period, quarter, and annual revenue and margin targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a new business role within a fast-moving B2B environment.
* Results-oriented, successfully delivering against targets in a competitive marketplace.
* Outstanding active listening skills with an ability to engage and influence customers.
* Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency to work in a deadline-driven environment.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Experience of Salesforce and/or SAP would be beneficial.
