Job title: Commercial Manager

Salary: Circa £63,000 Depending on Skills and Experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading commercial bids and proposals through to completion of suitable Contract
* Actively participate in Business Winning, including contributing to the development of commercial proposals for potential business and the commercial review of the full suite of proposal documents
* Lead the Request for Bid Approval (RBA) and Contract Award (CA) process
* Lead the negotiation of commercial issues and ensuring acceptable business agreements and contracts
* Managing bids, contracts, and programmes, ensuring all risks and opportunities are managed and obligations are appropriately discharged
* Managing commercial and contractual issues/disputes/claims, ensuring alignment of stakeholders and leadership of negotiations to resolution
* Lead Commercial Customer relationships
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Experience in new business and contract negotiation
* Experience with drafting and managing large and complex contracts
* Experienced in writing complex reports and commercial offers
* Good understanding of Intellectual Property and Export Control
* Experience in managing small teams
* Good understanding of interactions with related functions (Engineering, Finance etc)
* Experience of research and development
Desirable:
* Awareness of Defence and aerospace sector
