Aniwell Vets is seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to join our busy, forward-thinking first-opinion small animal practice with branches in Bournemouth and Poole. This will be a part time role of 30 hours a week, working across at least 3 days.
It is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our Clinical and Operational Teams, leading a committed and passionate team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
About the Role
As our Practice Manager, you’ll play a vital role in both the operational and business aspects of the practice, ensuring exceptional client and patient care.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
1. Leading and supporting the practice team - fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
2. Managing and promoting our fantastic reception team - ensuring a high standard client service.
3. Overseeing business development, including financial management, budgeting, and stock control.
4. Handling HR responsibilities, including recruitment, staff development, and absence management.
5. Ensuring high safety compliance, supporting the team with protocols and risk assessments.
6. Managing debt recovering processes and addressing client complaints professionally.

Our sites are fully equipped with digital X-rays, ultrasound, in-house laboratory machines, a therapeutic laser, and dental radiography. Additionally, our Bournemouth site is a Gold Cat-Friendly Clinic, while our Poole branch houses endoscopy equipment, including rigid and flexible scopes, and is where we perform all our laparoscopic spays.
