Purpose of the role: The Recruitment Team is responsible for delivering robust recruitment practices to meet the hiring demands of the business. The Recruitment Assistant plays a vital role in supporting hiring managers to successfully recruit into vacancies, providing timely, fit for purpose transactional support to ensure a high-quality candidate journey. Key Responsibilities: Support the recruitment process up to offer stage, working with hiring managers to recruit into vacancies Partner with hiring managers to address recruitment needs and ensure an effective campaign Support in maintaining relationships with external partners Prepare and post job adverts Manage applications through the ATS, screen CVs for shortlisting Actively source candidates when necessary, using recruitment tools Schedule interviews and attend to support hiring managers when necessary Overcome obstacles to ensure effective recruitment Work to the teams KPI’s Support the Recruitment Lead with projects Attend recruitment events Handle and maintain paperwork accordingly Ensure process is always adhered to Maintain all required administrative tasks Essential Requirements for the Role: Whilst previous recruitment experience would be highly desirable, we will consider applications from those who possess strong experience in the following: Stakeholder management and relationship building Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Strong administration experience Must have strong organisational skills Knowledge of relevant employment law and best practice Excellent IT skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook Ability to commute either with own car or public transport around Bristol Desirable Requirements for the Role: Proven experience as a Recruitment Assistant or similar role. Experience gained in-house is desirable but not essential Experience in recruiting tools such-as ATS, job boards, CV databases Knowledge of the recruitment processes Full Job Description can be provided upon request.
