A global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance systems and components is seeking a Equipment Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to shift equipment engineers covering all areas of silicon wafer processing equipment, package and test.
* Lead and participate in equipment installations and improvements, solving underlying equipment issues.
* Work hands-on with gases, chemicals, robotics, vacuum, electrical, and electronics.
* Manage your own time and workload efficiently as a team player with excellent organizational skills.
* Engage in project work, installing new equipment and making equipment modifications, providing necessary documentation and training to others.
* Respond rapidly to equipment issues, ensuring timely repairs and clear progress updates to production teams.
* Lead cross-functional teams and external engineers, recording actions and minutes of meetings for complex issues.
* Produce all risk assessments for equipment and host/control contractors, reviewing their method statements and risk assessments, issuing permits to work.
Experience and Qualifications
* Experience in a multi-discipline role with a strong electronics skill set.
* Educated with a minimum of HNC in electronics.
