The Role As the Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining compliance with tax regulations and company policies. You will work closely with HR and finance teams to support payroll operations and streamline processes. Key responsibilities include: Administer and process weekly and monthly payrolls for approximately 170 monthly ROI employees, 30 weekly employees, and 30 NI employees (NI payroll experience not required). Handle payroll inputs, including overtime, bonuses, deductions, and statutory payments. Ensure payroll compliance with Irish tax laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements. Stay up to date with payroll legislation and implement necessary changes. Maintain accurate employee payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Prepare and distribute detailed payroll reports for management and finance teams. Use Sage Payroll and Excel to manage payroll processes efficiently. Work closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless payroll operations. Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related queries, providing excellent internal support. Identify and implement improvements in payroll processing for efficiency. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: At least three years of experience in payroll processing within a high-volume environment. Proficiency in Sage Payroll or a similar payroll system. Strong knowledge of Irish payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance. Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail. The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with multiple departments. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for payroll reporting and analysis. A proactive and process-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
