Future Teacher Primary School Are you someone aspiring to be a teacher? Whether you’re currently studying or a post graduate looking to find your way into a teaching position, Teaching Personnel are searching for an individual to work in Swansea in the primary school sector. Your role in the classroom will include general teaching assistant duties and the expectation of taking over for the class teacher when they may need to leave the classroom. This may be for a meeting or an issue outside of the classroom they need to handle. This role is temporary with the expectation of full time working hours within the training and education industry. A permanent role is a possibility for the right candidate. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or studying towards ones. Primary school curriculum expertise- a strong knowledge and understanding with effective planning abilities (preferred) Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to pass enhanced DBS checks. Driving Licence ( not essential but preferred) Key Responsibilities Safeguarding children Have a good understanding of the primary school curriculum and be able to input it into engaging lessons and tasks. Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment in the classroom Communicate efficiently with staff, pupils and parents Strong time management skills Develop your teaching skills and be able to adapt your teaching strategies if required What We Are Looking For A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children Effective classroom management Excellent communication and listening skills Positive attitude and an excellent work ethic Able to work as part of a team efficiently Working Conditions: Temporary position with possibility of permanent Full time Mon- Fri Based in Swansea Pay rate is between £90- £100 per day All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
