This is an opportunity to join the well-established, progressive department of ENT at HHFT. The successful applicant will join a highly motivated, dynamic team, responsible for the management and treatment of ENT patients with the emphasis on multidisciplinary care.
The appointee will form part of a long-standing team delivering a comprehensive Hospital ENT Service, working closely with a tier 2 ENT community service. There is the opportunity to engage in service development, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team. Continuous involvement in research and audit is encouraged.
• See new and follow up patients in the Outpatient Clinic
• Carry out basic ENT procedures in the operating theatre.
• Involvement in research and audits projects locally
• Partake in the on-call commitment at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust
The ENT Department at Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital is closely linked with Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust to allow the development of subspecialty skills at each site for a combined population in excess of 600,000. Our in-patients are cared for in the Diagnosis & Treatment Centre providing purpose built facilities for both adults and children. The full range of surgical services includes functional endoscopic sinus surgery, middle ear and mastoid surgery, laser surgery and treatment of benign head and neck disease including parotid and thyroid surgery. Close working with the Dermatology department brings in a large number of skin lesions requiring surgical treatment.
