We are looking to recruit a 2 x Pharmacy Ward Services hybrid Porter / Assistants (one post = 34 hours, one post = 22.5 hours) into our busy Ward Services section of the Pharmacy Department at Frimley Park Hospital on a permanent basis., To support the Ward Services manager & Dispensary manager in facilitating a prompt and efficient pharmaceutical stock supply to customers.
To carry out Portering duties (on a rota basis) within the Pharmacy Department. Approx 50% of your working time will be spent portering with the other 50% completing assistant duties in ward services. Porting will be shared between ward services and the dispensary, dependant of the needs of the services.
To be responsible for the handling and distribution of goods both within and between the pharmacy ward service and the dispensary and all departments served within Frimley Park Hospital.
To deliver goods offsite as and when needed using the Trust's electric car.
If you are motivated, with good communication skills and a customer service mentality, have a methodical approach to work, an ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team - you could be the person we are looking for.
