We are seeking an experienced Asset Investment Assistant with a demonstrable track record of working within a fast-paced team within a housing or customer-focused environment to support our two award-winning companies to make a real difference to people’s lives, homes, and communities.

5. A proven track record of working in a fast-paced, busy environment providing key support functions to the wider Programme Delivery Team.
What will you be doing?
The Asset Investment Assistant plays a vital role within the Assets Team by providing administrative and operational support in project delivery and asset investment planning, with a focus on compliance and service efficiency. This role involves assisting in the management of the Asset Management Strategy (AMS), updating the Project Register, and supporting investment planning to meet Welsh Housing Quality Standards (WHQS) as well as providing support for the planning and delivery of De-carbonisation projects. The assistant also aids in project and contract management tasks, including supporting the Leasehold Manager with the works consultation process (S20), assisting in tender procedures, audit tasks, and contractor management. Additionally, the role involves maintaining compliance records, coordinating site visits, and ensuring prompt and professional handling of customer enquiries, complaints, and insurance claims to support overall service delivery. Using the WWH values, you will demonstrate effective skills and behaviours to confidently be a part of the Assets function and provide assistance and support to the Programme Delivery Team and wider colleagues. You will enable the delivery of services to our residents by providing effective support to all departments within the Group. You must also be a good communicator and provide a high-quality, friendly customer-orientated service.

Where is the role based?
The role will be based in Cardiff, but there will be a need for regular travel all over Wales, so a valid driving licence and provision of your own vehicle is required for this role.
