Our client, an Engineering Manufacturer, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their fast-growing team in West Sussex.
As Logistics Coordinator, your main responsibility will be ensuring materials are received into the business satisfactorily, and onward goods are received by customers in good condition and at the right time.
Logistics Coordinator duties include:
* Managing logistics for the company, including international shipments and local pickups.
* Preparing all necessary documentation to ensure goods get through customs without incident.
* Tracking deliveries and liaising with relevant parties accordingly.
* Producing invoices as goods are dispatched.
* Processing invoices when goods are removed from consignment stock.
* Credit control and other accounting/administration requirements.
* Maintaining the company order book and creation of sales orders.
* Various project-based assignments.
* Upkeep of AEO & other logistics accreditations.
* Statutory IPR requirements - to ensure the company does not pay duty for items which will be exported.
* Raising purchase orders for external transport.
We are keen to speak to driven, self-motivated people who have strong logistics experience and customs knowledge. You'll need to have proven organisation skills and attention to detail, as well as be a confident communicator.
In return, the successful Logistics Coordinator will be offered up to £35,000, in line with experience and skills.
