Registered Manager
Hours: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours)
9– 5pm
To lead in the day to day operational management through effective leadership in order to deliver high quality care and support within the framework of The Care Quality Commission and the Health and Social Care Act (2008), encompassing the management of all the services and personnel within the Home.
To work closely with the organisation and support residents with their community and spiritual needs. To lead and promote the philosophy, values, aims and approach to the service.
Duties and responsibilities.
Lead the staff team to provide a high standard of person centred care
To promote and be an advocate and champion for the service users
To fulfil all duties as Registered Manager in accordance with the Care Quality Commission and other Registered Care Home compliance regulators
To manage a team of care staff within a budgeted establishment ensuring appropriate skill mix to maintain the high care standards.
To coordinate, with support, the Annual Development and Improvement Plan for the Home.
To report to the Care and Wellbeing Committee and work with its members in developing ideas, initiatives and practices and to share in the monitoring process.
To undertake any other duties, tasks or projects, as reasonably required by the Registered Care Manager, which are commensurate with the general level of this post.
Qualifications and experience:
RM for at least one year
Working with elderly
Worked in care home before
