As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children. Your primary responsibilities will include: Job Duties: Assisting with the daily care of children, including feeding, changing, and supervising activities Supporting the planning and implementation of age-appropriate learning activities Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues Participating in meetings and training sessions as required Required Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent Valid DBS check Previous experience working in a nursery setting Education: Minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Paediatric First Aid Certificate Food Hygiene Certificate Working Conditions: This role involves working full-time hours on a contract basis.
