Our client is the only independent veterinary group in Huddersfield, a thriving multi-centre mixed practice with 44 vets and six locations across Huddersfield and South Halifax, including an RCVS-accredited hospital. They are seeking a vet with experience to join their supportive and skilled 7-vet team at their Huddersfield practice, home to their renowned Animal Rehabilitation Centre.
Since its opening in 2008, the centre has supported patients recovering from surgery, managing arthritis and joint problems, addressing neurological or spinal conditions, and improving weight loss, muscle condition, and overall fitness. Equipped with two underwater treadmills, therapeutic ultrasound and laser units, electrotherapy for pain relief and muscle maintenance, and an array of exercise equipment, the centre offers comprehensive rehabilitation services.
You will work alongside an incredible team, including a company director who is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner with further qualifications in veterinary acupuncture. The team also includes certificate holders in diagnostic imaging, surgery, ophthalmology, ECC, and several vets pursuing postgraduate certifications. Support comes from an exceptional nursing team, many of whom are actively advancing their qualifications in rehabilitation.

The Rota:
• Full time role - a 4-day week (8.15 am - 6.15 pm)
• 1:4 Saturdays (9 am - 2 pm)
• One late shift (10.15 am - 8.15 pm) every two weeks and approximately 1:9 daytime weekends at the hospital
• No OOH
