We have new Later Living services commencing in April in Motherwell and Bellshill and have exciting vacancies for Later Living Carers. It’s an excellent job opportunity for those who live in and around North Lanarkshire
As a Later Living Carer, you'll have a vital role in supporting older and vulnerable adults in their own homes. Operating between 7.30am and 10pm seven days a week, our services provide care and support to Trust Housing customers, based on individual care assessments. Whether it's personal support or helping with meals, your kindness and compassion will make a real difference to our customers' lives.
• Locations: Ravens Court, Motherwell; Mission Place, Motherwell; Corson Court, Bellshill.
• Hourly Rate: £12.25 - £12.50 per hour (Pay Award Pending)
• Availability: Flexible shifts (morning and back shifts) including some weekend working.
• Guaranteed Hours: 12 to 18 hours on a rolling rota basis
• Job Type: Permanent Contract
• On-Site Working: Our customers are all based within our housing developments designed for later living.

Care & Support Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate:
• Has experience in the care sector and working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, with an understanding of needs and knowledge of how to meet these.
• Holds an SVQ in Health and Social Care or relevant qualification, or is willing to work to.
• Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills.
• Possesses IT skills.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential; we provide comprehensive training and support. What matters most is your passion, kindness, and dedication to helping our customers live their lives to the fullest.

Please note this role is subject to satisfactory interview, references and a PVG check. You will be required to register with the SSSC, complete mandatory training within a timeframe, and the commitment to studying for an SVQ in Care & Support if you do not already hold this qualification.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorships for international applicants, or candidates currently working in the UK on a sponsored visa as we are unable to assist with renewal upon expiry.
