We are seeking to recruit energetic, motivated individuals to join our fostering service. In Ceredigion fostering service we are committed to continued development in order to recruit new foster carers and provide support to our existing foster carers, the children and young people in their care.
There will also be opportunity for you to participating in supporting our families who provide Special Guardianship Orders and our newly developed Supported Lodging Scheme.
As a social work assistant, you would work alongside Qualified social work staff to undertake allocated tasks, contribute to the development & implementation of a programme of activities & facilitation of support groups. Our service objective is to work with foster carers to deliver holistic care to children and young people who are unable to reside in their birth family.
As one of the team, you will be provided with regular supervision and offered Training opportunities.
