Job Summary: Under the guidance of senior staff, the Senior Administration Assistant will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, potentially taking the lead in specific areas such as admissions, property management, inclusion, or the primary phase. The role requires proactive problem-solving and collaboration with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the academy's administration. Key Responsibilities: Relationships: Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Support academy staff with administrative and organisational requirements. Communicate effectively with parents, students, the public, and external bodies. Welcome visitors professionally and support meetings with necessary arrangements. Ensure safeguarding of children and young people when covering reception. People Management: Supervise, coach, and support new or less experienced staff. Provide training in systems such as Web Req, Tucasi, or SIMs. Deputise in the absence of the Operations Manager. Resource Management: Handle administrative tasks including correspondence, data input, and report generation. Lead administrative support for school events, trips, and processes. Manage financial and accounting administration, including invoices and reconciliations. Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and supplies. Decision Making: Assist in planning and organising administrative support systems and policies. Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making and process improvements.
