The Head of School will work with, and be supported by a Strategic Executive Team Leader within the Trust. The successful candidate will be working closely with the local governing board and successfully leading the staff team to bring about continued and rapid school improvement across the school, so that all staff and children continue to thrive and make accelerated progress. We are seeking an effective, child-centred leader and teacher with: Proven, successful and sustained Deputy or Assistant Headteacher experience with evidence of consistently improved outcomes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as a result of their leadership contribution; a proven track record of consistently good or better teaching and/or leadership across EYFS, KS1 and KS2; an in-depth knowledge and understanding of curriculum skills, knowledge and expectations required in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 for all children to achieve; t he proven, evidenced ability to ensure that standards of teaching, learning and progress beyond their own classrooms are consistently good or better across their school, as a direct result of their leadership contribution and support; a commitment to inclusion; a proven, continual desire to improve their own leadership practice and respond with enthusiasm to developmental support; high expectations for the achievement of every child and member of staff; the proven ability to support, lead and inspire colleagues by example - with compassion, integrity, creativity, resilience and clarity; excellent interpersonal skills; and a proven commitment to upholding the Christian distinctiveness of the school and Trust.
