Then this is your next role This is a vacancy for a Primary Teaching Assistant at a warm & welcoming mainstream primary school with a supportive 'work family' type atmosphere. Role: Primary Teaching Assistant at an established mid-sized mainstream primary school with modern build and faicitlies. Start date: ASAP in Feburary. Contract: Long-term, could turn perm eventually for the right person. Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm. Pay: £90–105/day (DOE) – paid PAYE directly through Now Education (no umbrella companies). Equal pay to permanent staff in same roles from 13th week of placement onwards. Responsibilities: Provide targeted support to mainstream KS2 pupils in small groups, helping to reinforce learning and boost confidence. Deliver numeracy and literacy interventions to support pupils in developing key skills and closing learning gaps. Provide pastoral interventions to support students’ emotional well-being and personal development. Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that builds students’ confidence and independence. Work closely with teachers, school leaders, and parents to ensure a well-rounded approach to each child’s development. Follow school safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and welfare of all pupils.
