A great opportunity has arisen to join us as a Health Care Assistant at Paulton Memorial Hospital The ward is a 28 bed inpatient unit with the emphasis on rehab and aiming to get patients optimised to enable them to return home. You will join a welcoming multidisciplinary team on our John Stacey ward, where our services run 7 days per week. Your primary purpose is to carry out routine care and health tasks which will be set out in agreed care plans, or work plans or as directed by registered colleagues. You will also, when trained, contribute to care plans, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. The Ideal Candidate You will be passionate about working in healthcare and able to work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team. You will support the nursing staff in delivering a high standard of patient care, displaying strong communication and organisation skills at all times. Previous experience in a health or social care setting is desirable but not essential. You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
