Senior Project Manager - Cabling Location: Hounslow, London, UK Contract: Initial 6 months Rate: INSIDE IR35 Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic IT Senior Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction / infrastructure projects within Rail or Airport environments or similar infrastructures, with a strong emphasis on the connectivity and cabling systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning and implementation of project management strategies in a high-stakes airport environment. Oversee the installation and maintenance of optical cabling systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with suppliers and manage contracts effectively, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within budget and timelines. Ensure adherence to CDM 2025 regulations and NEC contracts, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation within the project management team. Experience: Previous experience working at an Airport or Rail In-depth knowledge of Civil & Infrastructure design projects, emphasis on structured cabling. Familiarity with transport network operations and the integration of advanced technology solutions. Strong background in supplier management, with the ability to negotiate and maintain productive relationships. Comprehensive understanding of CDM 2025 regulations contract management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent). Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role. Personal Attributes: Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
