Pulse AHP’s Speech and Language Therapy Team is currently recruiting an experienced Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist to join the team for a full-time/part-time role based in the Barnet area. These roles will be in the Barnet area providing Speech and Language therapy services. To be successful in this role you MUST have at least 1 years’ experience working exclusively with acute populations. Position : Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist Location : Barnet Hours : Full-time/Part-time options available Duration : 3 months, with the possibility of extension Essential skills: Relevant Band 7 level clinical experience in acute inpatient neurology and stroke. Proof of competency We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide specialist speech and language therapy services to patients with a range of neurological conditions, including stroke. This role requires a high level of expertise in acute inpatient neurology and the ability to conduct instrumental swallowing assessments. This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £34 per hour. Main responsibilities of this Speech and Language Therapy vacancy: Perform Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Video fluoroscopy (VF) swallowing studies. Assess and manage patients with complex neurology conditions. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans. Maintain accurate records and documentation by professional standards. Essential requirements of this Speech and Language Therapy vacancy: You must be a Speech and Language Therapist with a recent experience of at least 24 months. Proficiency in FEES/VF instrumental swallowing assessments. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
