Role Overview: An opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical Control and Instrumentation Construction Project Manager who will be responsible for the leading, managing and the motivation of a team through implementation of best practice on an exciting new project. Collaboratively oversee and interface with numerous third party stakeholders to develop, liaise and safely deliver packages of high quality construction work on schedule and on budget Grow and develop a competent EC&I focused construction delivery team Support selection and then partner with the project’s Supply Chain and 3rd Party Contractors to ensure the project’s deliverables and KPIs are achieved Provide direction to engineers and sub-contractors to ensure that construction tasks are achieved in line with Business Operating Procedures (BOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) Co-ordinate and lead construction reviews with the various project stakeholders Produce and ensure approval of produce work instructions, installation sequencing and method statement documentation Ensure all relevant design standards/practices are complied with Manage the relevant and key construction delivery documentation (e.g. work instructions, RAMS, installation sequencing) to build, maintain and report accurate event profiles (e.g. cost, resource and schedule forecasts) Help define and maintain the construction activities and delivery schedule to ensure the successful delivery of the work packages. This approach delivers value for our customers and creates exciting opportunities for our people so come and join the team Applications are typically sought from Degree Qualified Electrical and Controls Engineers (or equivalent) with proven project delivery experience in requirements development, design for manufacture & install and validation of the following: Electrical Systems including switch boards, transformers, cabling, cable containment/management, lighting, HV & LV distribution, busbar, UPS, lightning protection specification and design integration of plant and equipment for safety critical hazardous environments. The projects systems broadly Control & Instrumentation Systems including access control, CCTV, detection, communications, SCADA, building management and safety systems. Ideally your experience should include system design and assessment of safety-related structures, systems and components operating within a high specifications based hazardous safety critical environment.
