Start Date: September 2025 or sooner if possibleThe Governing Body wishes to appoint a Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to work at Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School to complement our existing team.Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School, is situated in Mountain Ash, serving the parishes of Mary Immaculate and St Thomas, Abercynon. We currently have 120 pupils on roll aged between 3 and 11. The school has strong links with the community, parish and a supportive, pro-active Governing Body. At Our Lady’s we place the wellbeing of our pupils and staff at the very centre of all that we do. We are an enthusiastic, committed and supportive team who always aim to follow our school motto- ‘Growing together in faith, love and knowledge’
The successful candidate will need to: • support the Catholic ethos of the school; • show initiative, be motivated, developing a sound understanding of pupil progress; • take an active role in their own professional learning; • communicate effectively with pupils, parents and the staff team and • be able to work productively with pupils of all ages and abilities.
