We are currently recruiting for an Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client's team based within their top-class manufacturing facility in Newcastle Under Lyme. This is a permanent role. Quality Assurance Engineer key job details: 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 1pm Friday (40hrs p/week) Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 (D.O.E) per annum Company pension scheme 28 days annual leave your birthday off Further personal development and training company commitments Company product discount scheme Quality Assurance Engineer key responsibilities: This role will act as a driver of quality and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing business Identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and embed a culture of continuous improvement to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction Take ownership of product quality standards, and control these through single point lessons (SPLs) and other process controls Develop, establish, implement, and lead continuous improve (CI) frameworks and programmes Create, maintain, and audit quality controls throughout the manufacturing process (relating this to lean manufacturing, Six Sigma principles, and waste reduction) Champion a culture of innovation and collaboration, organising workshop sessions to tackle operational challenges Quality Assurance Engineer person specification: Previous experience in quality assurance or continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or industrial sectors (mechanical experience preferred) Relevant qualifications in a quality or CI-related field, such as a BA (Hons), Green Belt Six Sigma, or equivalent Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering continuous improvement projects Strong knowledge of modern manufacturing processes and quality improvement strategies Proficient in Office 365 with strong presentation and facilitation skills Detail-oriented and results-driven individual If you're interested in this Quality Assurance Engineer vacancy, please apply by either clicking the "apply now" button or by contacting Patrick IAP Recruitment
