Position: SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (Term Time Only)
Contract: Long-term placement
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you have experience working with pupils who have autism, ADHD, and other needs? We are looking for a reliable and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a vibrant primary school setting. For this role you will be expected to work with a pupil who is in KS1.
Role Requirements:
* Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 or 3 in a relevant subject.
* Experience: Proven experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, and other special needs in a school setting.
* Curriculum Knowledge: Confidence with the primary curriculum and ability to effectively guide and support the pupil on a 1:1 basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver tailored 1:1 sessions to support the learning and development of the assigned pupil.
* Engage with the primary curriculum and provide individualized learning guidance.
* Build a supportive and trusting relationship with the pupil, fostering a positive learning environment.
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure consistent support across all areas.
