Job Description
* Oversee and manage stock control within the organisation.
* Coordinate purchasing activities and ensure orders are placed in a timely manner.
* Work closely with suppliers to negotiate delivery schedules.
* Collaborate across multiple departments.
* Place and manage purchase orders for stock and special items as required, including liaising with suppliers.
* Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
* Evaluate supplier performance and develop improvement plans.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
* Assist in other company projects when required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Stock and Purchasing Controller should have:
* A solid understanding of stock control and purchasing.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Skilled in using Microsoft software at an intermediate level.
