Venture Recruitment is partnered with a local financial services business in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant.
This role will initially be heavily cashier-based before progressing into a more complex management accountant role.
Overview of the role:
1. Manage balance sheet reconciliations, process bank transactions, and deliver ad-hoc financial analysis.
2. Own and become the senior expert in cashier duties for the first 12 months.
3. Ensure meticulous accuracy in all tasks, as errors impact financial reporting and organisational decisions.
4. Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines for internal and parent company (KEU/TMC) reporting.
5. Liaise with departmental heads and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes.
6. Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Key skills & experience:
1. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
2. AAT studier or BSc in a relevant qualification
3. Proficiency in analysing financial data
