Permanent Credit Controller | Elgin | £26,000 - £28,000 (DOE) Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of our established and exclusive client based in Elgin for a permanent Credit Controller. The role offers a generous salary of £26,000 - £286,000 depending on experience. This is a hybrid role, offering great flexibility with occasional travel to the office. Your new role You will be responsible for minimising bad debt to maximise profit by collecting outstanding amounts. You will also be maintaining existing customer accounts to their terms & conditions. The role also includes renewing new credit account applications, handling general sales ledger queries and dealing sensitively with customers to maximise recovery of debts. What you'll need to succeed Credit control experience is required, with preference of both domestic and commercial customers. The role will include liaising with customers and depots, chasing down overdue payment and releasing orders held. You will also be required to take customer card payments over the phone, so strong numeracy and high attention to detail is required. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and you will possess excellent attention to detail.
