SLC now have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Student Finance Officer to join our Customer Operations team. As an Apprentice Student Finance Officer, you will study for a level 3 in Business and Administration whilst assisting our customers in their student finance journey by resolving their requests and case manage their applications. We understand that learning is key to developing yourself, and your Apprenticeship encompasses learning modules designed to help you gain the skills you need to succeed. Our Apprenticeship programme is through our partner Darlington College undertakes modules in Customer Service, Communication and Problem Solving. SLC offer a Blend working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. What you bring: •A passion for customer service with the ability to understand customers' needs and a desire to deliver high standards. •The ability to use your own initiative whilst working within defined guidelines and adapt to changing working environments, in a positive manner. •The ability to communicate clearly and effectively through a variety of channels including telephone, email, and letter. •A commitment to your own learning and development whilst maintaining the key knowledge and skills required for your role Criteria for Apprenticeship: Age Requirement: This programme is estimated to last 15 months and due to the legal requirement in England, successful applicants must be at least 18 years old at programme completion date. Educational Status: Applicants should not already be in full-time education when applying for an apprenticeship. This typically means not currently enrolled in a school or college programme. Qualifications: Candidates must have achieved GCSE's or equivalent in Maths and English. You can expect more from a career with SLC.
