About The Role
As a Night Senior Care Assistant at Foley Grange, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our care. Note: We offer 35.5-hour contracts, working DAYS or NIGHTS.
Your role involves planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, providing social and recreational activities, and administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key responsibilities. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; you should recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures to follow. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training and seek advice or escalate concerns as needed.
