What we’re looking for… We’re looking to hire a talented and motivated Content Marketing Manager to join our dynamic and ambitious marketing team on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover. Reporting into our Chief Operating Officer, you will work closely with our Demand Generation Manager as well as Brand Partnerships, Product and Customer Success teams. The ideal candidate will be a versatile content creator, comfortable producing everything from video content and SEO-optimised landing pages to thought leadership pieces and social media posts. You’ll need to hit the ground running, managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong collaboration skills are essential, working cross-functionally with teams to maximise the impact of every piece of content. Essential skills: Proven experience working in a content marketing role. Strong commercial awareness and numbers-driven. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Natural eye for design and affinity for creative copywriting. Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple projects at once. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly Sales, Customer Success and Product. Desirable skills: Experience working with HubSpot. French and/or German language skills would be desirable. Experience working in product sampling or similar. Educated to degree level or higher. As our Content Marketing Manager you will be responsible for: SoPost blog Develop and own a content plan that drives brand awareness, addressing industry trends and key customer pain points. Research, write and publish SEO-optimised thought leadership articles, news and announcements. Ownership over blog post performance, such as organic website traffic and conversions. Social media management Manage SoPost’s social media presence on LinkedIn, writing and scheduling posts, engaging with followers and tracking performance. Working with the Head of Design when needed for design support. Liaising with HR to publish employer branding content. Ownership over growing our following and engagements. Video content Script, film and edit video content to grow SoPost’s social and brand presence. Working closely with the Founder and CEO to develop and execute a content plan for his LinkedIn. Collaborating with external video agencies for larger-scale video production when needed. Email marketing Own and execute email communications, including blog announcements, newsletters, product launches and event promotions. Ownership over growing our community, email database and email performance. Website and SEO Own and manage all website content, ensuring it’s up-to-date, SEO-optimised and aligned with brand messaging. Monitor and report on website and SEO performance. Case studies Liaise with the Demand Generation Manager to create compelling case studies that showcase strong data insights and success stories. Product marketing and partnerships Develop internal and external materials that communicate new product features, updates and partnerships effectively. Demand generation support Collaborate with the Demand Generation Manager to turn content into high-performing lead generation campaigns. This is a full time role where the successful candidate will be expected to work on a hybrid basis in our London or Newcastle office for a minimum of 2 days per week.
