Finance & Office Manager
Location: C hepstow
Position: Full time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £40,000

Autograph Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established, construction business, based near Chepstow. As our client continue to grow, they are now looking for a Finance & Office Manager to join them.
The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining the financial accuracy of the business by processing transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
This is a great opportunity for a local candidate to become a key part of in a family feel business.
Responsibilities of Finance & Office Manager:
* Process financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
* Process payroll and CIS statements via Sage
* Raising sales invoices and statements
* Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies
* Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
* Prepare tax returns and submit VAT
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
* Support senior management team with administration duties
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and reports
* Preparing month end
The Ideal Candidate:
* Ideally AAT qualified or equally qualified by experience within a similar role
* Familiar with using Sage software
* Knowledge of CIS
* Planning and organisational abilities, able to prioritise workload accordingly and work to deadlines timely
* Ability to implement and improve processes
* Proficient across Microsoft platforms, Excel in particular
* A key team player who can engage and develop strong relationships
