Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):
The role will involve working towards ensuring the organisation’s products and services meet both internal and external standards, function effectively, and meet the customer’s requirements and expectations.
Main Activities/Responsibilities:
The Quality Inspector will collaborate with all stakeholders across Manufacturing; including Production, Engineering, Design, Purchasing, Environmental and Health and Safety in order to ensure processes are being followed as per our Quality Management System.
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Quality Inspection (Welding/Coating/Assembly/Goods In)
* NCR progression and investigation
* Problem solving
* Rework activity
* Calibration
* Audits
Education, Experience and Competencies:
* Quality Systems experience in a manufacturing environment.
* IT literate in the use of Word and Excel.
* Minimum requirement of 5 GCSEs at grades A*- C or above/A-Level equivalent.
Reporting Relationships and Supervision:
The employee will work closely with the following personnel:
Quality Assurance Department, Engineering Technician, Production Manager and Leaders.
