Job Description
The Role:
3. Complete accurate and timely month end financial processes
4. Analysis and commentary on financial data and performance
5. Prepare and post monthly accounting journals and regular accruals into SAP
6. Cost and balance sheet reconciliations
7. Budgeting and forecasting
8. Financial reporting and compliance
9. Assist with the year-end audit process
10. Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
11. Improve or remove inefficient processes
12. Work with external and internal audit teams
13. Ad hoc project work within the finance department
The Successful Applicant
The Ideal Candidate:
14. Part-qualified and working towards a professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA )
15. Proven experience in a similar role
16. Strong analytical skills
17. Excellent communication abilities
18. High-level understanding of MS Excel and finance software
19. Demonstrable knowledge of accounting legislation and regulations
