This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established regional unit working alongside four Police Forces, Regional Capabilities and Partner Agencies to tackle serious and organised criminality. The role involves the research and interrogation of IT databases and external sources to provide up to date, relevant intelligence to facilitate investigations, identification of intelligence gaps and support to live operational activity. You will be expected to create, monitor and maintain products and ensure intelligence and operational staff have all the relevant information available; you may be required to present intelligence at briefings and meetings and support the analytical function in the Regional Intelligence Unit. The post holder will have excellent oral and written communication skills and an attention to detail and be able to demonstrate good organisational, planning and time management skills. The ideal candidate will have good working knowledge of and ability to operate computerised databases and research experience. You will be expected to understand and navigate around social media platforms and applications to develop intelligence.
