We are working with a consultancy based in Hereford who are seeking a mid-level .Net Developer to join their business. Opportunity to work on greenfield projects for their varied customer base with a real opportunity to progress into a Technical Lead role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain software applications using C# .NET and T-SQL.
* Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
* Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
* Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
* Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and improve performance.
* Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
* Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
* Create and maintain technical documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Software Developer, with a strong focus on C# .NET and T-SQL.
* Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
* Experience with SQL Server and writing complex queries and stored procedures.
* Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
