The Role
We are looking for a CNC Machinist (Setter/Operator) to join the CNC Turning section. You will be responsible for setting and operating a range of modern CNC Lathes, with an ideal background in mill/turn twin spindle machining.
This role operates on a two-shift system (Monday – Thursday), alternating shifts (5.20 am - 3pm & 3pm - 12pm), offering a great work-life balance while working in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting and operating CNC Lathes, ensuring production meets tight tolerances
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to achieve precision machining
* Working alongside manufacturing engineers and CNC programmers to meet daily production targets
* Maintaining accurate documentation of CNC paths, features, and tooling information
* Ensuring safe operations by adhering to health & safety procedures
* Performing machine maintenance and daily checks to ensure operational efficiency
* Supporting Continuous Improvement (LEAN, 6S) initiatives to enhance productivity
