We are looking for a team leader to manage the Personal Assistants to the Executive Directors at The Walton Centre and deliver the highest-level of support to the Chair and Chief Executive. This person needs to be flexible, an excellent communicator and committed to working to a high standard while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
We are looking for someone who knows how to get the best out of people and understands and has experience of what is required to manage a team. You will also need to support some formal meetings so experience of writing minutes and organising and supporting decision-making meetings is essential.
Main duties of the job
To manage the Executive Personal Assistant team and the operational functions within the Executive Office to provide comprehensive personal assistant/secretarial and organisational support to the Executive Directors and their Deputies to ensure the efficient operation of their portfolios. To also provide personal assistant support to assigned Executive Directors and their Deputies.
To be an effective communication link between senior internal and external stakeholders. It is essential that the post holder is conscientious, meticulous and can act with autonomy and is confident in engaging and communicating to a high standard, while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Dealing promptly with complex internal and external issues including enquiries and complaints as appropriate, using initiative to both identify the elements of the matter and problem solve where appropriate.
To be responsible for planning the cycle of business, compiling agendas and required papers for formal committees and groups including the recording and distributing of minutes and action trackers ensuring actions are completed in a timely manner.

* Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience
* ECDL qualification or equivalent
* Evidence of continuous professional development
* RSA III

* A successful track record in corporate governance/ senior administration/ PA
* Working under pressure in a busy environment
* Working with senior leaders e.g. Chairs, Non-Executive Directors, Executive Directors
