We have a fantastic opportunity for an Employee Relations (ER) Specialist. This pivotal role within the HR Operations team will see you become the trusted advisor for all employee relations matters. With a hybrid working model that includes two days per week on-site in North Coventry, this role offers the perfect blend of flexibility and productivity. What you'll do:
* Offer first-line advice and manage a diverse range of ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and redundancies.
* Ensure adherence to company policies and employment legislation in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
* Collaborate with various stakeholders such as line managers, ACAS, solicitors, etc., to resolve ongoing cases.
* Manage ER ticketing systems for efficient case handling while maintaining accurate ER records for data analysis and trend reporting.
* Support training initiatives aimed at equipping managers with the necessary knowledge to handle ER matters effectively.
What you bring:
* Solid background in HR and employee relations.
* Excellent communication skills enabling efficient case handling.
* Comprehensive understanding of relevant UK employment law.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills allowing relationship building at all levels.
* Proficiency in using MS Office and HR information systems for case management and reporting.
* Knowledge of Republic of Ireland employment legislation would be advantageous but not essential.
