An exciting opportunity has opened for a seasoned Maintenance Manager to join a prominent agricultural operation based in Nagambie, Victoria. This full-time position offers competitive compensation, superannuation, and a company car (for personal use, BP fuel card, and e-tag included).
About the Role
As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance operations across six farms in Nagambie and Stewarton, managing a team of experienced technicians and staff. This role requires a balance of 60% hands-on work and 40% managerial duties, ensuring that all facilities operate at peak efficiency while upholding safety and quality standards.
Key Details
1. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with one on-call weekend per month.
2. Location: Based at Nagambie, covering operations in Nagambie and Stewarton.
3. Compensation: $110k base salary + super + company car (personal use allowed), BP fuel card, e-tag, and tools provided.
4. Scope: Manage six farms, supervise technicians and staff, and maintain critical equipment and infrastructure.
5. Responsibilities: Split between on-the-tools maintenance (60%) and administrative / managerial work (40%).
What We’re Looking For
* A trade qualification in fitting (highly preferred).
* Extensive experience in maintenance, ideally within agriculture or a similar industry.
* Proven leadership skills to manage and command respect from a team of experienced technicians.
* Strong technical expertise in farm equipment maintenance and the ability to handle both hands-on and administrative responsibilities.
* A proactive, safety-first mindset with a solid understanding of OH&S requirements.
* The ability and willingness to work directly with livestock as part of the role.
