Learning Support Assistant Poulton-le-Fylde
To assist students who have been identified as needing support with their reading abilities, we are looking to employ a full-time Learning Support Assistant who will collaborate with the learning support coordinator.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about the challenges that students with dyslexia may face and be able to design and deliver personalised study plans that will help students advance and realise their full potential.
It's crucial to be able to connect with students of all ages. It would be ideal to have experience teaching English functional skills and phonics training.
Roles and responsibilities
* Assisting the classroom teacher to plan learning activities, prepare learning materials, complete records and carry out administrative tasks
* 1:1 and small group intervention support
* Supporting pupils during school, social activities, outings and sports events
* Supporting pupils with educational, behavioral and social development
* Supporting pupils with additional needs; SEND and SEMH

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
