Role: WTG Marshalling Harbour Site Representative
Working Pattern: 2 Weeks on / 2 Weeks off - 12 Hour Days - Day & Night shifts required
Location: Hartlepool - Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to the site
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: February 2026 + possible extension
Clearance: BPSS (DBS/DC, Financial Probity, Employment History) + Medical Questionnaire & Proof of Right to Work in the UK

Description:
The successful candidates will have proven skills to build relationships with key internal and client stakeholders to ensure that WTG marshalling harbour activities are safely executed in accordance with technical and quality requirements.
Working as an integral member of the WTG Package team, the WTG Marshalling Harbour Employer Site Representative will observe and report on WTG load-in and pre-assembly activities as defined within the key accountabilities of this role. The role will be back-to-back with another WTG Marshalling Harbour Employer Site Representative and will work closely with the Employer Quality Representative.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsibilities include ensuring all works comply with project specific requirements, including:
* Incoming component inspection of tower sections, blades, and nacelles with client inspectors
* Final inspection prior to loadout
* Assembled tower walkdowns
* Tracking preservation of components in line with client requirements
* Reporting and closing out punch list items
* Producing daily reports of key activities and findings
* Safety walkarounds with the client
* Reviewing quality documentation
* Participating in daily/weekly coordination meetings with the client site team
* Liaising with the project commissioning and completions team on outstanding punch list items uploaded to ProCoSys
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
We seek candidates with WTG construction experience in large, complex projects.
* Minimum HNC qualification in engineering or construction
* At least five years of relevant experience, including WTG construction as an Employer Representative or similar role
* Understanding of quality functions during EPC contract execution
* Experience working collaboratively with clients and contractors
* Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain stakeholder relationships
* Experience monitoring contractor activities during preservation, installation, commissioning, and handover, including managing non-conformities
* Understanding of project documentation and contractor deliverables
* Willingness to be site-based
* Strong commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing
