We’re looking for a highly capable Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of LV up to 132kV power systems projects, across sectors including renewables, energy storage, utilities, nuclear, defence and advanced manufacturing.
You’ll work closely with clients, contractors and our internal teams – with plenty of variety, responsibility and scope to shape how we deliver.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Leading electrical design and specification (LV to 132kV)
2. Delivering protection, control, SCADA and interface design
3. Reviewing and approving technical deliverables
4. Managing project inputs from concept through to commissioning
5. Advising on and reviewing power system studies
6. Supporting testing and commissioning activities, ensuring successful integration and system performance
7. Working directly with clients, contractors and suppliers
8. Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprentices
9. Ensuring compliance with all applicable technical and industry standards
What we’re looking for:
1. Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
2. 8–10+ years’ experience in a relevant industry
3. Strong background in design and project delivery (LV/HV/EHV)
4. Comfortable taking technical responsibility for projects
5. Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Amtech, ETAP (or similar)
6. Chartered Engineer (or working towards it)
7. Familiarity with relevant standards and DNO/IDNO/TO specifications
8. SAP/HV switching experience (desirable but not essential)
